The mission of the people of Woodland Heights Presbyterian Church is to share our love of Christ, to reach out to the community with the Good News of God’s love and care for all people. We truly have a sense of family within our congregation.

We have several opportunities for fellowship and learning. In addition to the regular Sunday services, there are Sunday School classes which meet every week. A member leads a Bible study held on Wednesday evening. The Presbyterian Women meet each month for devotion and fellowship.

Austin's Kitchen was created in 2016.  Dinner is served on the last Monday of each month to whoever will come and break bread together

Several outside organizations utilize our church facility. It serves as a meeting place for a Boy Scout troop and an ALANON group. Several years ago, the basement was remodeled as a hostel for mission groups who have come to volunteer in the Springfield area.

Along with other congregations, we participate in the Crosslines Food Pantry.  We collect food throughout the month and  our volunteers take the food to Crosslines and distribute it to families in need.

We support Bowerman Elementary School located just one block north of our location. We collect a variety of items for donation including winter coats and personal care items.

We continue our partnership with the Woodland Heights Neighborhood Association, Convoy of Hope, Council of Churches, and Habitat for Humanity. We strive to reach out to our neighborhood while continuing to care for the beloved members of our church family.
